NICKSON'S
QUALITY & INNOVATION

AIRWORTHY AIRCRAFT ENGINE & COMPONENT REPAIR

NICKSON'S MACHINE SHOP, INC. has been a FAA Certified Repair Station since 1966. Pioneering the FAA approved welding and machining of aircraft engine crankcases, Nickson's performs welding and/or machining operations on virtually all engine components. Returning Airworthy, Quality Aircraft Engine Components to service is what Nickson's is known for.

Nickson's also holds a Class 1 Powerplant License and performs complete engine overhauls. Nickson's performs all inspection, repair and machining operations in house, assuring quality control second to none. All overhauled engines are run in and tested in Nickson's test cell. This results in Quality, Reliable, Proof Tested, and Airworthy overhauled engines. Computer acquired and recorded data of your engine test is available with your overhaul, insuring you with factual information about your Nickson's Overhauled Engine.

Nickson's is FAA-PMA approved to manufacture various reciprocating engine cylinder barrels. Nickson's also holds a STC on these barrels and their use in the re-barreling of engine cylinders. ION-NICtm cylinder barrels are specially heat-treated; nitrided steel barrels that are corrosion resistant when compared to factory nitrided barrels. These cylinder barrels answer many problems today, offering the superior wear quality of a nitrided surface, versatility in piston ring selection, and patented, additional corrosion resistance. The best of all worlds.

Nickson's performs Certified NDT inspection to Level 2 specifications in Magnaflux, Liquid Penetrant, and Ultrasonic disciplines.
